Grimm Audio returns to the Dutch High End show X-fi. Last years edition was a big success for us, a large crowd attended our LS1be demonstrations. This time we have a premiere for the X-fi: our new LS1a will see its official introduction in public. The LS1a offers the acclaimed performance of our LS1 series at a much lower price. Introducing: the LS1a!2017, September 2

On Saturday September 2nd our new dealer Chattelin Audio Systems in The Hague has the premiere: we present our new LS1a playback system to the audience! The LS1a has been developed after frequent requests for a speaker with the core qualities of the LS1, at a lower price. So we took a close look and decided to remove all fine tune aspects and replace the expensive Seas magnesium woofer by a more affordable type. The result is a rational design that has a very high performance level for its price. If you like to have a sneak preview of the LS1a, please visit Chattelin Audio systems on September 2nd, where Eelco Grimm and Guido Tent join forces with the Chattelin team to offer great demonstrations and lectures that show the qualities of the LS1a. The general introduction of the LS1a system on our home page will be during the Dutch High End show X-fi, end of September. Stay tuned for more information.

For the 11th year now, the Excellent Luxury Living show in Eindhoven offers 30,000 visitors a vibrant show about high quality interior architecture. We are very proud to have been selected by the Excellent organisation as ‘preferred supplier’ at the main interior architects square (next to Maserati). In our booth we present our flagship product, the LS1be playback system. Interior architect Workshop of Wonders connected us to the famous Eindhoven based furniture manufacturers Spectrum and Anvia who will bring the Rietveld ‘Pressroom’ chair and the Anvia No. 1502 ‘Grasshopper’ lamp to our little ‘living room’. Please visit us at the show on March 23-26 and have a chat with Guido Tent or Eelco Grimm.

Our new German dealer Dominik Schumacher will demonstrate the LS1be at the Norddeutsche HiFi-tage in Hamburg. This is a unique chance to hear the exceptional quality of the LS1be yourself. Please enjoy some great music in our room 341 in the Holiday Inn in Hamburg on February 4th or 5th.

Our Greek distributor Athens Pro Audio will present the LS1 at the big High End Audio Video show in Athens. Owner Chris Hatzistamou is a very experienced mastering engineer with over 5000 releases and you can be sure to get a great hifi demonstration from him. Please visit the HXOS Eikona Show in the Radisson Blue Park Hotel in Athens, 26-27 November.

Grimm Audio will introduce two new pro audio products at the Tonmeistertagung 2016 in Köln (and a third is on its way…)! One is an affordable quality boost for everyone, the other may become the new centerpiece in your studio. Stay tuned, more information about the products will be posted soon. If you are visiting the show, please say hello to Guido Tent and Eelco Grimm at booth B-02.

On Saturday 19th, Eelco Grimm will contribute to the Loudness Session in room R4 at 17:00. His topic is “Loudness in Streaming Services”, and he will present an investigation into the sound quality and loudness normalization of the major current music streaming services.
