Here's a recording that shows the difference TPR can make to your recordings. At PuckSound in Amsterdam, we recorded the Gretsch drum kit of Puck Leek, using just one AKG414-ULS for over heads. Without moving the mic we changed cables: TPR versus a standard high quality studio cable. Can you hear the difference? Hint: don't be afraid to listen to the wav files via your laptop loudspeakers. Strange enough the absence of any other cable in that situation offers quite an interesting view on what's going on with cables and sound.
