At Grimm Audio team spirit is what drives us. Since our group of engineers grew considerably in the past years, not all members of the team work on the same project anymore. We therefore value our regular team meetings, where everyone gives a short update about their progress and possible struggles. And five times a year we have a ‘Grimm meeting’ on Friday where an engineer gives an in-depth technical presentation of a topic he has been working on. This usually is a wonderful event.
Recently we celebrated the introduction of the UC1, not long before new and stricter Covid measures were imposed in The Netherlands. The development team members Michiel Schriever and Floris Schropp gave the Grimm Meeting presentation. They offered some insight in the software structure and USB implementation that Michiel built from the ground up, and also in the power supply and analog electronics that Floris took responsibility for. It was a great afternoon in our new premises in Veldhoven and of course we had a wonderful dinner afterwards (the “Grimm Eating”). We’re happy to share this with you!
