In these ‘dark months’ of the year, the Eindhoven housing corporation Trudo and the Rotary Eeckaerde have joined forces to relieve the impact of homelessness. With their “everyone a roof” campaign, donations are collected for a barrista project where former homeless people are trained to run a coffeebar in buildings of Trudo. They acquire important skills as a prelude to a regular job.
With a selection of Eindhoven entrepeneurs, Grimm Audio saw the importance of this charity and we decided to offer our support. Apart from a financial donation, we also expressed our backing with a quote that is projected on a huge campaign cloth that’s mounted on the Veem building in Strijp-S, Eindhoven’s vibrant creative industry area. This Veem building was built 80 years ago by Philips as a massive warehouse for radio receivers.
Next to Eelco Grimm’s picture the quote says “Music comforts and warms the heart. We support those who need that most.” With Guido Tent’s picture the quote is: “Sound inspires and creates a space. We support those who need that most.”
