The Netherlands’ leading online hifi magazine, hifi.nl, published an LS1 review by René van Es, who was fascinated by the fact that the LS1 is so different from any other system he auditioned. His verdict is:
“A system that belongs to the current top class of high end audio, at a very reasonable price in relation to the quality. A system with such low distortion and such high neutrality that you may probably have to get used to it.”

You have to work hard on the LS1's to get a good sounding mix, but once you have it, you can be sure it really is a good mix.
