The MU1 concert

June 3, 2019

On January 31st 2019 the MU1 music player was officially introduced in the Van Abbe museum in Eindhoven. Journalists, dealers and friends of Grimm Audio were all invited to celebrate this mile stone with us.

After an official program with the MU1 speeches, we treated the audience to a concert of cellist Maya Fridman (who later in May won the Dutch Classical Talent Award) and harpist Majsa Koperberg. For this special event, they wore the dresses that fashion artist Alice Lupin made for a Grimm Audio promotion picture photo shoot, in which Maya and Masja served as a model.

In the first and fifth piece Maya plays contemporary compositions in which she is accompanied by pre-recorded parts that were played to the audience via the MU1 and LS1be system. It was a glorious welcoming concert in which the MU1 participated itself.

Please enjoy the video registration of all six pieces, made by Darren de Vroede (camera and editing) and Eelco Grimm (sound).
