Roon Labs has announced that an update in November demands extra software that was not installed in many Roon servers based on Linux, and this also affects the MU1. To make sure that MU1 users will enjoy uninterrupted Roon playback, we just released an intermediate MU1 update to v1.3.2. The MU1 display should now indicate that an update is available, please read the MU1 software manual for instructions about how to run it. All MU1 owners are asked to perform this firmware update before installing the Roon update.
We took the chance to offer a few improvements and fixes. Most noticable for some customers is that “right to left” script like Hebrew and Arabic is now supported. We also added caching to our display which lowered the CPU load, and we solved a bug when using ‘preview’ on a digital input.
