We released firmware v1.5.8 for the MU1, plus a small bug fix v1.5.9. Like with the recent MU2 update, this new firmware solves an important issue that occured with Roon’s latest version (build 1365) when a user needed to reset the database. It offers a few other bug fixes too, so all users are recommended to install this update.
Apart from the bug fixes this firmware demonstrates our continuing efforts to work on details in the UI and general system improvements. We also added a nice little feature, which is that the MU1 automatically jumps to Roon when you start playing music in the Roon app but another source was selected. All users please note: during an MU1 update the display and power led can dim or halt while the unit is busy and it is very important to leave the MU1 on until it ‘wakes up’ automatically. This can take up to 15 minutes or even longer. Please wait patiently.
