The leading Dutch audio magazine HVT celebrates its 50th anniversary… congratulations! During that long history, both Grimm Audio founders Peter van Willenswaard and Eelco Grimm have published articles in the magazine, so we celebrate a little bit with them.
On the occasion of their anniversary issue, HVT publishes a shortlist of ‘iconic’ products that were reviewed from 1972 onwards. Among it are true classics like the Technics SL1200, Quad ESL63, Stax Lambda and B&W Nautilus. In this gallery of honor, our LS1 is featured for the year 2011 and the MU1 for the year 2020. From the HVT text: “If there is one loudspeaker that deserves to be called ‘iconic’, it is the Grimm Audio LS1.” Wow, what a tribute! This is such an honorable award that it leaves us speechless…
