To all MU1 owners: we released new firmware for your device. It is primarily a maintenance update that fixes a few small bugs. But it also adds support for 16, 18 and 20 bit DACs like the Audio Note models. This is a unique feature, as far as we know no other streamer offers properly dithered outputs for lower resolutions than 24 bits. So the MU1 now is the ideal streaming source for owners of Audio Note DACs and alike.
The MU1 software manual has been updated to cover the new features. For an overview of all changes, read the Change Log document. Note that this update includes an FPGA update which will take about 15 minutes. Please remain patient during the update process.
