Improved firmware for MU1 and MU2

Last month’s firmware update of the MU1 and MU2 brought many changes. Our software team anticipated that errors would unavoidably creep in with such a big revision and so they stood by to address all reported issues. While they were at it, they managed to squeeze out even more performance from the MU1 code. So we are proud to present to you an update that not only irons out some wrinkles, but also offers an interesting sound quality improvement for MU1 users.

Details about the updates (v2.0.4 for MU1 and v1.0.3 for MU2) can be found in the MU1 and MU2 change log documents and the new MU1 and MU2 software manuals. The MU1 and MU2 FAQ are also updated.

To MU1 and MU2 users: one change demands your special attention. Since version 24H2, Windows 11 does not allow ‘guest’ logins on local network devices anymore. To satisfy safety requirements like these, the MU1 and MU2 internal disk now requires credentials when mounting it in the network. The username is: mu1-user (or mu2-user). The password is: mu1-pass (or mu2-pass). Like with all updates, please remain patient while your device runs the update. And then enjoy an even more stable streamer.
